Here is a view of the house inside and out updated from last year to today. We spent all of 2006 reshingling, redoing the walls and working on the foundation. Then we spent all 2007 putting in new windows, residing, plumbing, bathroom remodeling, sewer, and all new electrical.
House stained here is the little house on the praire! We will be celebrating the 100th yr of the Evjen homestead in 2009. When my great uncle Emmerck homesteaded in 1909. We started fixing the house up on its 70th anniversary in 2006'
Here is the bathroom! Yes there is a bathroom! We use this room the most!
This is the propane fireplace, we have finished putting rock on it. I stayed in the cabin one christmas and I was very comfortable. The fireplace ads a romantic, and a real cabin feel. Also as you can see we have a t.v., vcr, and a microwave.

Here are the black iron frame bunkbeds! We figure the house could hold up to 8 people. The Futon also folds out into a bed. The cabin will house some of my art work too. Next to the beds are my buffalo skull painting, and my photograph of the nearby slim buttes.
